Hamburger Hash is an easy dinner recipe my mother used to make. It’s a simple and basic recipe. Easy to make, with basic ingredients you will likely have in your refrigerator and pantry. One of my favorite things to share with you is easy and budget-friendly recipes!
When my mother made this recipe, she would usually serve it with green beans and a slice of buttered white bread.
I’m always trying to get creative with hamburger recipes. Raising cattle causes us to have plenty of hamburger meat in the freezer. In these times, we are lucky to have our own farm-raised meat. We know exactly where it is coming from. If we don’t have our own cows, we buy from local farmers and have it processed. Knowing that a lot of the meat in the stores is from foreign countries has me super skeptical. For this recipe, my mom used hamburger, potatoes, and onion. That’s it if you don’t count the salt and pepper. This is pretty much the way I make it too. How to Make Simple Budget Friendly Hamburger Hash recipe is pretty versatile, you can easily add in some of your other favorite ingredients.
Today, I’m adding two more ingredients that are just a tad different than my mother’s recipe, green bell pepper, and Worcestershire sauce. You could easily only use 3 ingredients though.
