Parmigiano Reggiano Garlic Parmesan Chicken Strips in the Air Fryer

I love fresh cheese!  My aunt is allergic to dairy, and I just feel very blessed that I do not have that allergy.  Can You imagine life without dairy, especially cheese? I had a  big block of Parmigiano Reggiano Cheese that I was ready to put to good use!  I wanted a recipe that my whole family would enjoy.  My 5-year-old, like many 5-year-olds, loves chicken strips  So began my creation of this very simple and quick recipe, Parmigiano Reggiano Garlic Parmesan Chicken Strips in the Air Fryer.  With a busy household simple and quick are a must on many nights.
I have a brand new Air Fryer that I have been experimenting with, and I wanted to put it to good use with this recipe!
My 5-year-old, like many 5-year-olds, loves chicken strips  So began my creation of this very simple and quick recipe, Parmigiano Reggiano Garlic Parmesan Chicken Strips in the Air Fryer.  With a busy household simple and quick are a must on many nights.

Ingredients

  • 2 Chicken breasts cut into strips
  • 1/2 C freshly grated Parmigiano Reggiano cheese
  • 1/2 C plain bread crumbs (you could use Italian bread crumbs also)
  • 1 tsp Garlic powder
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • 3 T Milk
  • Salt and Pepper to taste
  • Pam or other spray cooking oil

Instructions

  • Prepare your chicken breast, add salt and pepper to desired taste.
  • Mix milk and olive oil together and place in dipping tray or plate.
  • Mix garlic powder, bread crumbs, and Parmigiano Reggiano cheese in another dipping tray or plate.
  • Dip chicken strips into milk and olive oil.
  • Dip into Parmigiano Reggiano cheese mixture
  • Spray with cooking oil.
  • Place on the rack of your Air Fryer.
  • Set at 400 cooking for 10-12 minutes. Or use the presets on your Air Fryer Oven for chicken.  Flip strips over about halfway through the cooking process.

 
These chicken strips are bursting with cheese flavor and are sure to please adult and children’s taste buds!  I just can’t go wrong when everyone in the house is pleased. 
 
I served this with fries on the side, but you could easily serve it with a side salad and cheesy garlic pasta.  The perfect combination for adults, and kids that are not so picky.
