I’m always looking for a simple craft I can do with my daughter. One of the main things I look for is a craft that we want to keep around and can use to improve the appearance of our home. When you have smaller children, that is not always easy. Luckily I’m going to share a Really Easy DIY Valentine’s Day Wreath that you can make and reuse every holiday.
You don’t need much to make this simple craft. I had all of these things in my craft room
Supplies for Easy DIY Valentine Wreath
- 12×12 cardstock 2 pages or more, depending on what you want to use for your wreath
- Stapler
- Cutting tool
- Ribbon
My daughter chose the two colors she wanted to use. She went with two pink cheetah patterns.
Instructions for Easy Valentine’s Day Wreath
- Fold the card stock in half
- Cut in one-inch strips
- Cut as many pieces as you want. We did 6 of each color
- Fold each strip into a heart shape, then staple together at the edge.
- Arrange all of your hearts on the table to form a circle, then staple the hearts together, working to form the wreath.
- Cut ribbon to make a loop and staple it onto the wreath
- Hang your new Valentine’s wreath on an interior door.
Conclusion
Do you decorate your home for every holiday? Or maybe create fun crafts with your children? We usually decorate for Christmas and Fall and I skip the rest of the holidays, but this year we have a cute new wreath to hang on the door.
